Cyinzobe Trail in Nyungwe Forest is a three-day hike the trail, starting from the Uwinka Visitor Centre, allowing hikers to enjoy the magnificent view of the Kamiranzovu swamp and its waterfall along the park’s west boundary. This is an exciting way to explore this remarkable forest that holds a million secrets.

Day -by Day of Cyinzobe Trail in Nyungwe Forest. 

Day 1: 

A magical walk for about three hours (depending on the fitness level of hikers) to reach the first camping site which is ranked as moderate. There are a few hills around but be ready for a big sighting of tree species and plant life.

Day 2: 

The second one is about six hours long and ranked as a strong one. Nyungwe is home to an abundant array of unique and captivating bird life, even on our doorstep. Along with our specialist guide, you’ll enjoy spotting and learning about the most prolific, iconic, and rare species, so get your cameras ready!

Day 3:

Your third day, which is the last is also about three hours like the first one and is also ranked as moderate. Experience the rainforest from a dazzling new perspective, with a minimum of three people and six maximums, the Cyinzobe Trail in Nyungwe Forest offers two nights in the park in wooden cabins.

You don’t have to bring anything apart from hiking clothes during your 3 days in the jungle. Our rate covers accommodation, meals, and guiding fees. However; this does not include the park entry fee. The park entry fee is $100 for the first night, a 50% discount for the second and third nights, and 0% for the fourth night up to seven days for intranational visitors.
