Munazi Eco Lodge in Nyungwe Forest Opens This May 2025

Munazi Eco Lodge in Nyungwe Forest which is currently under construction and due to open in May 2025 will be a fully catered camp featuring  20 beds of 9 A-frame units with
6 twins- A-frame units en suite( Sitting room, shower, and twin beds upstairs), 2 family units, A-frame units en suite( sitting room with sofas that can be turned into twin beds, shower, and twin beds that can be turned into a double) and 1 VIP A-frame unit en suite (with a bath, jacuzzi, King size bed, sitting room), plus room service and mini-bar! The offerings in each room – ie en-suite (hot or cold water), bath/showers, Wifi, patio, etc: Hot water, showers (plus a jacuzzi in the VIP house), Wifi, sitting area (wooden deck).

All reservations to Munazi Eco Lodge in Nyungwe Forest will start soon as it is opened up this year.

Munazi Eco Lodge in Nyungwe Forest is approximately a 30-minute drive from the park’s new headquarters and 5km from the Uwinka Visitor Center. It is located within the home range of chimpanzees, Angolan black and white colobus monkeys, Mountain Monkeys, and Silver Monkeys. The site also harbors an important number of birds including the colorful turacos and many Albertine endemic species.
