Explore the Culture in Rwanda

The culture in Rwanda is so incredible and fantastic, composed of three tribes that dominate the country and these are the Hutu, Tutsi, and the Batwa that have the smallest number compared to the Tutsi and Hutu. These tribes surprisingly speak the same language (Kinyarwanda) throughout the country and they share most of the cultural beliefs together. French and English are the next languages commonly used in Rwanda and are their national languages.

Their cultural dances are accompanied by their traditional songs as they clap and drum dancing to the skies. This dance is known as Intore which is practiced among all the tribes in this country. Live dance performances are seen at the Iby’Iwacu cultural village in Musanze or at the National Museum of Rwanda. The finest display of Rwanda’s varied dynamic traditional music and dance styles is performed by the Intore Dance Troupes. Book Now

Men dress in a wrapper skirt and beads, Men’s skirts are wrapped around their waist and wear the beads around their necks. The modern world has changed the whole culture and these are no longer daily clothes but functions and church wear. Rwanda’s cultural practices can be enjoyed by any tourist on a Rwanda tour.
